Before Your Visit
After scheduling your initial exam appointment with The Chiropractic and Wellness Studio, our team will email you specific paperwork tailored to your individual health goals. We ask that you take time to complete this thoroughly, sharing as much detail as possible about your unique needs and health history. This allows Dr. Luis to better understand who you are and how we can best serve you. Please ensure all paperwork is completed before your first visit.
Your First Visit
Your first chiropractic visit is an opportunity for us to connect with you one-on-one and truly listen to your health concerns and goals. At The Chiropractic and Wellness Studio, we are deeply committed to helping you achieve wellness on every level—mind, body, and spirit.
Once we’ve reviewed your paperwork together, Dr. Luis will perform a chiropractic exam. From there, we will take your x-rays (if necessary), and go over each one in depth to make sure that you understand exactly what is going on structurally inside of your body. By taking x-rays in house, we can identify your specific needs based on structural misalignments. This allows us to have a specific road map to follow for your care.
If Dr. Luis determines that you are a good candidate for chiropractic care, the next step in your first visit will be the adjustment. During this time, he will explain each step of the process and describe how the adjustment will be performed, ensuring that you feel comfortable, informed, and confident every step of the way.
In our practice, we offer several different techniques to provide safe and effective adjustments. While manual adjustments are most common, we also utilize tools such as the ArthroStim, massage gun, and our flexion-distraction table to gently adjust and relax the muscles. This variety allows us to tailor care to each patient’s unique needs and comfort.
