FAQs
Do you take insurance?
We are a cash based practice and are not in network with any insurance providers. This allows us to offer care at a more affordable rate and put the individual person’s needs when it comes to their health potential first. This also allows us more time with each practice member to ensure that all your questions and concerns are answered during your allotted time. We want our practice members to have the freedom to choose the right provider for them to help achieve their goals.
Do you take walk-ins?
We do not accept walk-in appointments for new practice members. Your first visit is a dedicated 60-minute appointment with Dr. Luis, where he will take a complete health history, perform spinal and nerve examinations, and capture any necessary X-rays. Each X-ray is carefully analyzed in detail to ensure nothing is overlooked. This thorough process allows us to fully understand your health needs and provide time to answer all of your questions.
Do you have care plans?
We do not offer pre-set care plans, as every person’s health journey is unique. Chiropractic care is not a one-size-fits-all approach. After reviewing your findings, Dr. Luis will provide personalized recommendations for how often he believes you would benefit from care. Ultimately, the decision is always yours, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
Where are you located?
We are located in Palm Plaza in Surfside Beach off of Highway 17 Business South. Our address is 1010 Surf Pine Drive, Unit I (eye), Surfside Beach, South Carolina 29575. We are on the backside of Palm Plaza. You will find ample parking right in front of our office.
Do you see pregnant moms and babies?
Yes! We love caring for both pregnant moms and babies in our office. During pregnancy, chiropractic care can support comfort, balance, and alignment for mom while creating the best possible environment for baby. Gentle adjustments for infants are safe and can help support healthy development, posture, and nervous system function. One of the most common questions we hear from parents is, “When is the right time to bring my baby in?” Our answer is always: as soon as you’re ready. Chiropractic care can be especially valuable in the very beginning stages of life, helping the nervous system adapt to a brand-new environment and supporting recovery from any physical stress experienced during labor and delivery. At every stage — from newborns to grandparents — our care is safe, specific, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Once I start at the chiropractor, do I always have to go?
Continuing chiropractic care is always your choice. In our office, Dr. Luis provides his professional recommendation for how often he believes you would benefit from care, but the decision is ultimately yours. Regular chiropractic adjustments help the body better adapt to physical, chemical, and emotional stress, supporting overall health and wellness.
